Australia recognises Covaxin, Modi thanks Oz counterpart

Australia will recognise Covaxin, apart from Covishield, allowing those fully jabbed with the Bharat Biotech vaccine entry into the country. While WHO’s emergency use listing for Covaxin is awaited, the countries that have so far recognised Covaxin for travel purposes include Australia, Estonia, Greece, Iran, Mauritius, Mexico, Nepal, Oman, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.
