National-level kho-kho player was killed by ‘drug addict’, say UP cops

With the discovery of a rope, a shirt with two missing buttons and a slipper, police say they have solved the murder of the national-level kho kho player in Bijnor. A labourer who lives at Adampur village, 26, has been arrested for killing the woman, 24, after an attempt to rape her.
